Political Cartoon #1

Ok so back to blogging now Stroudy, awesome....
Anyways so this is my first political cartoon I find it pretty true to what will come next to our government. I found it on the cagle.com/politicalcartoons website off of MSNBC

So I guess it's pretty straight forward, Obama is looking at the U.S. which is contained with MASSIVE problems located inside the U.S. It Shows that Obama looks really tiny and overwhelmed by all the problems in the U.S. such as Bailouts, Stimulus, Unemployment and etc. And it pretty much sums it all up by the statement "Gross National Problems". I think it's pretty true that Obama will have to face ALL that in his upcoming presidency and it is scary.

I Also found this cartoon and I just found it funny haha. Those darn Detriot Lions!

Service Hour Pictures Again!

Service Blog #3 and the last

So my last few service hours I volunteered at the polls today with Sarah Wilson and Chris Stine. I voted right before at HMS before going to Hutchison to help out with everything there. Sarah's uncle was the precinct captain or whatever at the Hutchison area so that's how i got to help out! It wasn't that hard we just really had to direct people to wear the polling location was (the gym) because people couldn't go through the school because of like elementary school parent teacher meetings or something. So pretty easy work, just hand out the sample ballots and direct people. People were really nice, not really many people were that mean, but it showed that a lot of people were in a hurry going to work or something. By around 11 or 12 we didn't really have much to do because by then most people were at work.

So pretty easy simple stuff in the last 3 hours of my service hours so that's about it!
